Why the domain check?
Buyers trust the verified badge because we only hand it to people who can prove they're behind the product. An email address at your app's own domain is that proof — so anna@acme.com claiming acme.com is approved instantly, while claims from personal inboxes or non-matching domains get a quick human check instead. Nobody can claim your app with a throwaway Gmail address.

Does claiming cost anything?
No. Claiming is completely free and stays free. Optional extras like premium placement or lead capture exist separately, but the verified badge and owner replies cost nothing.
How does instant verification work?
If you claim while signed in with a work email on the same domain as your app's website — for example anna@acme.com claiming acme.com — the claim is approved automatically, on the spot. Exact domain match only: personal inboxes (Gmail, Outlook and similar) and subdomain emails go to a quick human review instead.
What if my email doesn't match the app's domain?
You can still claim. Our team reviews the request — usually within 1 business day — and you'll get an email either way. If you can, replying from an address on the app's own domain speeds things up.
My app isn't in the catalogue yet — can I still claim?
Claiming is for apps we already list. If yours isn't there yet, list it instead — it's free and takes about five minutes.
Someone else already claimed my app. What now?
Each listing can only be verified by one owner. If you believe a claim on your app is wrong, contact us with proof of ownership and we'll investigate.
Does claiming let me edit the listing?
Claiming records verified ownership: you get the badge and can respond to reviews as the owner. Listing content for catalogue apps is curated by our team — if something's out of date, tell us and we'll fix it. Apps you submit yourself through “List your app” are fully self-managed.
